Fax using DSL connection
I have a new Dell 4600 computer and a Dell 940 fax/copier/printer. When I try to fax a documents it tries to use interal modem to call out on. I current have a DLS connection and wanted to know if its possible to use this connection to send faxes. If so, how to I tell the softeware to use the DLS connection instead of trying to use the internal modem?

jrowland,
Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
Faxing requires a standard phone line, and will not work through DSL. You will need to connect the modem on your system to your phone line, and the A940 will use the modem to fax.
