Home Network Printing Set up Difficulties

Our main computer is a Dell XPS 410 XP Media Center.  Our ISP comes into the cable modem, then to a LinkSys Wireless G router, then cabled to the XPS 410.  Attached to the 410 is a Dell 924 AIO printer.

We also have Dell PCs in two other rooms, one Dell Dimension 4300S which is cabled into the router, and a Dell Dimension 4200 which is connected via a NetGear 2.0 USB wireless adapter.  I am using CA Internet Security Suite 2007 if that matters.

I think my request is somewhat simple...I would like to print to the 924 from the two Dell Dimensions.  I have tried to setup via the Add Printer function; if I choose Network Printer I cannot locate the 924, if I choose local printer, and it asks me to insert the 924 CD, it either doesn't read it or it keeps telling me to plug in the 924 to that specific PC.  The printer is set up for sharing on all three PCs...in fact, it had worked before with the wirelessly attached PC, but when we changed routers I have been unable to get it set up again.  There must be instructions somewhere that can help me.  Thank you.

before doing this.. make sure u have actually allowed printer to be on sharing on XPS 410 computer... check out this link if it might help u out :

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/networking/expert/honeycutt_july2.mspx

u did not mention if u have vista on all computers or XP on all of them.....
if its both XP and Vista on different computers.. even i am having the same issues.i am looking for result which i will post here if i get it.
check this in that case : http://technet.microsoft.com/hi-in/library/bb727037.aspx

one more thing...all the computers must be on the same network.. i.e your cable modem and router.. only then will the desired computer be able to access the printer which will be available on the network.

do refer that article and let me know if shared printing worked out. thanks!
