How to print from Dell 946 printer memory when getting ink low error message

Question

My ink is not low.  I have refilled my DELL ink cartridge and its been working fine, until today when I got a fax of 6 pages and it printed the first 2 pages and then stopped saying ink low, faxes in memory.   I would like to see the faxes in memory.  I do not have fax management setup thru my computer.  I am just sending and receiving thru the printer.   I pulled the ink cartridge out and put it back in and then tried to print, but still got ink low    error message. I did maintenance- align cartridge, and then things started to print.... sounded like it was printing, but only blank paper came out.   Is there anyway I can see whats in memory?  My guess I have to setup the fax managment software on my pc.  Those instructions say you cannot view fax unless it was received thru the fax management software....so that doesnot help me this time.    Any way I can salvage the fax in memory and see it on my computer or printer?

The only way I see this is if you go to Staples or Walmart and buy Dell cartridges. Dell ink cartridges have a sensor in them and CANNOT be refilled. They can also be purchased from Dell's website.
