Inspiron 1501, 966 Need help

Hello, first post, but read many.  I was just wondering if someone can help me with my printer.  I know there are many, many post about the same problem everyone is having with the communication error.  I have spent to many hours with tech support, and have had enough of the same result.  They get it working, next day ,back to only being able to use hardwired.  It seems there are so many different things to try.  If anyone can help me, it would be great, next step is in the junk.
