Dell might not tell you this, but this is a re-branded lexmark 1700 and here's how to reset to the factoty defaults without connecting via USB:
You must turn off the printer. Open the front door (as if you're going to change the toner) and then turn on with both the "continue" and "cancel" buttons pressed down and wait for the "ERROR" light to come on. Then you must close front door and turn off the printer. When you turn it on again, you have the printer with "factory defaults".......
