Lines in Prints on 3000 Laserprinter

After I accidently pulled a paper out that was jamed without opening the doors, my printer are making lines in the imageprints, just like there is something scratching the surface of the print before the color has dried.
When I contacted the support by phone, he said that it was the imagedrum, that should be replaced. To me it more looks like I might have damaged some of the parts in the printer.
Can anyone tell me if it is the imagedrum I have to replace?

Thank You
Morten

MortenH,

Without being able to actually see the interior of your printer and without knowing exactly where the paper was that you removed, it is virtually impossible to tell whether the problem is with the image drum or if any other components were damaged.  The statement by the phone support technician that damage to the image drum is the most likely cause of this problem is probably accurate.  There may be additional damage to your system as well, but without a visual inspection, it is virtually impossible to know.

Apparently if was the correct diagnose for the printer. Now I know that it isn't the right way to remove paper. Expensive lesson...
But thank you for your help
