Load and Print single envelope dell 962

Question

When I try and print a single envelope by using the feeder on the upper (paper exit) tray of my 962 it keeps telling me that there is no paper loaded, even though there is an envelope there. I have followed all the instuctions re loading a single envelope but no luck. Any advice?

I just printed my first envelopes. After looking at the manual, I thought I was supposed to load the envelope into the paper exit tray too, but I couldn't get that to work. They have to go into the bottom, even just a single one. Load them with the side to print facing down, and the flap to the left. Move the side guides in so that they fit the envelope snugly, or else it may not feed straight in.
