Need Help with Dell 968W

Question

I've been using a Dell AIO 968w for the past two years as a printer and photocopier.  It's worked wonderfully until today; I was copying some photos when I noticed that the image was blurry--a lot blurrier than the pictures themselves.  Thinking that the jet nozzles needed cleaning and realignment, I did that, then I started getting 'Printer Carriage Stall' messages--open up the printer, no obstructions, close it, printer refuses to work until I manually pull the plug and sit it and then plug it back in. After a while of this, now the printer doesn't work at all--when I try to print the printhead slams into the right side of the printer, audibly, and either continues to slam against it for a few seconds or just stops there and gives me a 'printer carriage stall' error.  Is there anything I can do? It sounds like the printhead is having problems on the left side of the printer as well--I can hear a 'hitch' as it moves across a certain point.
