Photo 926 -- Error Code 1203

I've done what the User's Guide suggests to fix Error Code 1203, but without success.  Is there anything else I can do besides throw away my printer and start over?  I hate to do that because I just purchased three new cartridges.  (I did recently install two new cartridges -- color and black & white -- but I've printed successfully since doing so, so I don't think I have a faulty cartridge.)  Suggestions?

Try to check one cartridge at a time. If you have old cartridge try to install it in the printer and check if it gives same error code.

Also, follow the link to check if the issue gets resolved: www.fixyourownprinter.com/.../30183

KenMason57,

From the way it sounds, you may have one or more faulty cartridges. I would take them back to the place of purchase for a replacement.

If you remove the plug from the wall and remove the power vrick from the back of the printer for 60 seconds, this will reset any error messages the printer is getting.

I had the same problem and struggled for days trying to clean the cartridges.  They were both fairly new and had been used for printing.  After unplugging the back of the printer and removing the black cartridge ONLY...I got a message that said to install black print cartridge.  The current one didn't work so I installed a new one and now it is printing!!!  Must be a "bad batch" of cartridges.  Good luck!
