Print Cartridge Problems - Thanks William_the_Scot

I just wanted to give a big thanks to william_the_scot for his advice on soaking print cartridges in hot water. For anyone else who may have the same problem: I have a Dell 720 printer. My black cartridge stopped printing even though it still had ink. I thought the ink level may be in error so I purchased a new black cartridge but was still getting any black ink out of the new one. I didn't think william_the_scot's advice applied to me because I had tried a new cartridge and still had problem. Finally, after a few hours of uninstalling and reinstalling the printer and trying everything else under the sun I decided to give the soaking technique a shot. After the first soaking the black ink was fairly faint but it looked better so I soaked it a second time. After the second time my original black cartridge worked perfectly again. I then soaked the new cartridge and it immediately began working as well. So, I just wanted to say thanks to william_the_scot for spending time on this forum to help out noobs like me.
