Print problem with A960

Hi ALL,

 

I have got  a DELL A60 printer....worked fine so far.

 

But recently, it does not provide good printouts (very faint black printouts only!) when I print a document or copy a document.

 

The black cartridge is more than half and color cartridge is less then half.

When I print a TEST PAGE, from all-in-one GUI, it comes out good.

 

Could you please suggest me what is wrong with the printer setup and how to solve it?

 

One question: Does this printer requires filled COLOR cartridge if one needs only BLACK printouts?
