Print Status Window Interface has Stopped Working
I have a new computer with Windows 8 and an old Dell720 printer. I found a driver and had the printer working with the new computer. The printer was working with no problems, when I got the message "Print Status Window Interface has stopped working". I also had a "Low Ink" window pop up.
Any help in fixing this problem would be appreciated.

Ok, I have found a way to deal with my issue. Apparently the problem centered around the printer sending a message to the computer that the print cartridge was low on ink. I told the computer that I installed a new print cartridge (but I actually didn't) and now the printer is working.

Have you found an answer to this problem?
Windows 8, 64-bit?
Make and model of your computer?

-am-,
Try reinstalling the printer, using the instructions below.
First run Delete Print Jobs to remove any stuck print job in the queue.
Disconnect the printer.
Download and run the patch(printer cleanup utility) until it prompts you to restart your computer.
Restart your computer. Make sure the printer is removed. Manual Printer Driver Removal
Download the Vista 32-bit drivers for Windows 8 32-bit or the Vista 64-bit drivers for Windows 8 64-bit. Install the Vista drivers in the Vista Compatibility mode You'll get a message, the printer is not connected. Connect the printer at this time(powered on).
