Printer will only print very small
I have a Dell all-in-one 924 printer and Windows XP Dimension E510. When I print from My Documents everything prints OK but when I go on the Internet and print, the size of the print has been very small this past week or so. Today it was almost microscopic. If I go to Tools - Print Size and select Largest, it still prints very small. Isn't this option for the printer rather than the screen. I'm beginning to think I am wrong about this. If not how can I enlarge the print? This happens when I go to the Internet via Internet Explorer 7 using my Verizon DSL and when I go to the Internet via MSN Premium using my DSL, and when I go to the Internet using AOL. I also have Mozilla Firefox and when I print from there it prints OK. Do you have an explanation. Were it not for Firefox printing OK I would think that maybe the web sites set it up this way voiding the print size selection on the Tools menu. I thought that possibly this was the case because when you try to print a document in regular or medium size it sometimes runs of the right edge of the page and the only way to correct it is to make print screens of the pages (not a very practical thing to do)

Re print size under pages or under tools on various browsers (i.e. IE7 or MSN using IE7)
If you change the size, a web page will appear on the screen smallest to largest) It will not affect a home page. The home page remains the same size..
I am not sure this was the always case. With previous versions of IE. I believe if I changed the size a web page would appear according to my change as would the actual printed copy.
The way it works now is that no matter what size you choose entire lines print out instead of sometimes being incomplete.
I believe IE7 needs to be set up with the default or actual selection of print size to print regardless as to whether it runs off the right edge of the page. I believe there should be a customization available if you want to shrink to fit. If this can be set up I do not know how to do it.

I have found out it is due to IE& Advanced Printing. Automatically scales a printed webpage so that it's not wider than the paper it will be printed on. I am still waiting to hear from Microsoft forums how to get the normal size to be the default and how I can manually change the default to the fit on the page option.
