We have 14 of these and have been totally unsatisfied with their performance. Also, today I discovered part of our problem, these printers do not have a Windows 2003 Server driver. We migrated to a Win2003 domain 7 months ago including our file and print server.
They will run on the network for a day or two even a month but then lose the network. If I print the test page everything is okay but I can't ping them or anything. I can reset to factory defaults, reconfigure and have them work for a time until it does it again.
We also are running windows 2003. I have 12 of these machines and wish I would have read this forum before purchasing.
Have you accessed the "print server" on each printer by using it's static IP address in your web browser? i.e. type 192.168.1.22 in the address field of your web browser and it will pull up all sorts of settings on the printers that are either not available or easily accessible using the physical printer and the "menus" in its control panel. We had problems with the printers losing their IP addresses until we set them static and changed a few other settings in the Network or TCP/IP settings in there somewhere. Going home. More tomorrow if you need it. (I suspect you will). =)
Once you access the print server you can assign the DNS server, the timeout for the connection, turn off the DHCP service, set the subnet mask, the default gateway and the IP address for the printer. Make sure you are not assigning IP addresses to the printers that are available on the DHCP server. We had some conflicts in this manner too.

I can't access the printer after it loses its address, can't even ping the address.
We assign them statically (the addresses) what other changes were you referring to?
