the printer is a Dell Photo Printer 926. I tried to look up the Printer IP address, for I think the Mac will need it I logged in as administrator, right click on the printer Icon, right click Propertis. there is no location. When I clicked on "Port" it shows chek mark where the printer is plugged: USB and name of my printer.Clicking on "Configure port" produces a statement: "An error has occurred during port configuration. Access denied"
I do not know of any Mac drivers for this printer. Your Dell 926 printer was made for Dell by Lexmark. If you can find a similar model, the drivers may of may not work.

Laik,
The make and model of the printer may be helpful. Unknown if there are Mac Drivers for the printer in question.
