Smeared heavy print

  Brand new this printer would print nice pictures on photo paper.

But ever since I installed new printer cartridges (both black and color) the printer stinks.

When I print on photo paper it looks smeared and very drippy.  If I print a picture on

regular paper it is extremely dark and saturated.  Saturated to the point that the photo is visible

on the back of the paper.  I have wiped the cartridges and adjusted the Lighter/Darker settings,

but nothing seems to help.  It just seems like there is just too much ink going on the paper.
