Spooler Subsystem App

Hi,

Last night, I had a problem printing an Adobe file from a website.  An error message came up saying there was a "Spooler Subsystem Application error and that it needed to shut down.  After that, I wasn't able to print anything, even Word documents, and even after restarting the computer a couple of times.

This morning, I'm able to print Word documents and e-mails, but still not the Adobe file.  I have a Dell 922 All in One printer, that I bought in August.  What does this mean and how can I print these type of files?  Thanks for your help.

Try this to manually stop and restart the spooler service:(see note after step #3)

1.Click Start, click Run, type "command", then click OK.

    The command.com window appears.

2. Type "net stop spooler", then press the enter key.

3. Type "sc config spooler depend= RPCSS start= Auto", then press enter key.

NOTE: The spaces between = and RPCSS and between = and Auto are important. Disreguard the "quote" marks. If command fails, retype again.

4. Type "net start  spooler", then press enter key
