V715w print problem

My V715w all-in-one worked great when I first installed it. But now when I try to run print jobs in sequence, the first job prints okay, but the other jobs get hung in in the print queue. I have discovered that if I reboot, I can complete the printing. Although I have found a solution to the problem, that solution is inconvenient and frustrating. Can you suggest a better solution?

In the December batch of Windows Updates, Microsoft installed Internet Explorer 11. IE11 had been causing printer problems.

Open Internet Explorer, click on Help, then click on About Internet Explorer. It should show the version there. If you have IE11, then go to control panel, Windows Update, Installed Updates, look for Internet Explorer 11. Click on Internet Explorer 11, uninstall.

Restart the computer, when prompted. Then see if your printer works.

Thanks Rockstar. I do indeed have IE11 with automatic updates. In December, 2013, 13 Windows Updates were installed. Only one of the updates appears to be related to IE11 - Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 7 for x64-based systems - 12/3/13. Do I only need to uninstall that update to correct my problem or do I uninstall IE11 entirely? And if I uninstall IE11 entirely, do I reinstall IE11 or install Firefox? Neon1one

You can go to Windows Updates, right click on Internet Explorer 11 and hide the update.

Thank you so much, Rockstar.  I believe I have answered my own questions.  After uninstalling the IE11 update, my printing frustrations have magically disappeared and my PC reverted to IE10.  I am still left with the question of what will happen when Microsoft again automatically installs an IE11 upgrade.  But when that happens I will be better prepared to deal with the consequences.
