wIfI PRINTER CONNECTION
I have a Dell 17R Inspiron laptop and a Dell V515W printer with WiFi. It says when the WiFi light is green I am connected remotely so why when I try to print from my laptop does it tell me it has no communication with the printer. I printed a test page from network set up on printer and it says there is no password . Could this be the problem and how do I set? If not, what am I doing wrong. Please help someone

cmaj129,
If you are remotely connected to another computer on your network, if the file is on the computer where the printer is located, it is possible to print that way.
If you use Google Chrome, in the settings there is an option to use Google Cloud Printing. You may be able to try printingthat way. I have not had a chance to try this, yet.

I saw if through google settings one goes to add a printer from the laptop can sign into google account to google cloud and find the printer then upload a document and try to print it. BUT if there were say the printer listed already but was setup by another computer it will not work with your laptop unless it is shared by google cloud sharing by sending a right to share to their email address. Solution easiest to delete the printers, dont share the printers like before except to for an emergency when wifi is working but DSL for example is not still could print from one or both of those pcs. So deleting the printer and then creating a printer for each laptop/pc and rename it to the printer name and that devices model number or similar naming method. But also could share one cloud printer by sending emails to each user you want to share it with. Then it is not dependent on the any pc but I do think the one that Created the printer in google cloud probably would need to be on somehow to connect to the printer is using there shared printer
