obtw..... if your intent is to initiate a network scan from the PC, that is not supported. Network Scans can only be initiated from the printer control panel.
If the Server Address book is setup correctly, you can indeed initiate a network scan from the printer to be sent to a PC or Server that was established in the Server Address book.
I have one sitting here right behind me and I do this regularly.
Hello Llynster, can you help me. I too am trying to connect my apple with a Dell 3115CN (scanner) and have no idea how to do this. I cannot find anything to assist me and would be grateful for any help you could give me.
