2000 MS Works Suite - WORD

Question

my dimension 4300 recently died.  a friend installed a new hard drive and DVD burner for me yet none of the original software that came with the computer was installed.    in 2001/2002?? what software typically came with this model?  i still have the MS Works Suite CDs but don't want all the incidental extras, just WORD - will it run without all the other stuff?

My 4300 came with Office Small Business Edition and limited versions of MusicMatch, Norton Antivirus, Dell Picture Studio, and Roxio EasyCD Creator.

You can install only Word from your Works package by selecting custom installation at the beginning of the installation process.
