Adobe reader takes 2 mins to open print dialogue
My adobe reader takes nearly 2 minutes after pressing print to open the printer dialogue window. Other computers I have do this instantly (sub 1 second). I have upgraded, uninstalled and reinstalled (now reader 9) and even used windows uninstaller to sort this. Nothing has improved it. Any ideas? Dell Dimension 4550 running XP pro, 1GB Ram

How is printing from other programs? Quick or do some of them take time to print or open the print dialogue?
You can try the free "foxit" PDF reader and see how it reacts. It's smaller and personally better than the Adobe PDF reader. I use the foxit on both my 32 bit and 64 bit Vista systems.
