suggests that even for non MS scroll mice, Intellipoint v 4.12 would work and gives a download link. That's the version I had until recently and I do not recall that I could scroll in VBA then, but you could try it.
OK, I downloaded Intellipoint version 4.1 and attempted to install it. The trouble is that the wizard that always got control of what I was doing would never let me install it. It kept telling me that the driver I have is the best I can get. Phfffft!
One thing I did not do is uninstall my current mouse driver before trying to install IntelliPoint 4.1. I guess I feel a little queezy about uninstalling the mouse driver . . . how does one operate a computer sans mouse? If I install IntelliPoint 4.1 immediately after uninstalling the default mouse driver (assumming the wizard will let me), will I be able to use the mouse? If I have to restart, will the operating system reinstall the default driver? I don't have a clear picture of how to do this. One of the problems I had iinstalling IntelliPoint 4.1 was that the system kept telling me that it wasn't acceptable software (hadn't been OKed by Microsoft, I suppose).

If you google for mouse scroll does not work in VBA, there's quite a lot there.
My MS optical wheel mouse with Intellipoint 5.0 does not scroll in Excel VBA windows, but as I rarely use it I haven't tried to resolve the problem.
