You need to go into your Control Panel and Folder Options, and under File Types, pick a program that will open your JPG files. Do you have a graphics view program?

Okay. So, you went to Control Panel, Folder Options and File Types and JPG was not listed?

Go to Control Panel and Folder Options again.

Select File Types tab.

Select New.

By File Extension type JPG.

Click on Advanced and select JPEG Image from the dropdown list (beside Associated File Type).

Click OK.

Then Click OK again.

That should work!

Hope this helps.

Not every file. It just depends on the file type and what programs you have available on your computer to open them with.

You're not being a pain.

If you have Power Point on your computer, link the PPT extension to that.

If you don't have Power Point and you've linked the PPT extension to the Power Point Viewer, you can download the viewer here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=428D5727-43AB-4F24-90B7-A94784AF71A4&displaylang=en.

Hope this helps!

Try linking the PPT extension to the program again from the control panel.

Go to your Control Panel and open Folder Options and click on the File Types.

Scroll down and select/highlight PPT.

Then, in the lower half of the window, click on Change.

From the pop-up, scroll through the programs and select Microsoft Office PowerPoint (if you have it) or Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer.

Then click OK.

That should work. If not, let me know.
