Cannot receive email into Microsoft Outlook inbox

For the last hour, I can send email, but each time it attempts to receive email, a box pops up that asks for us to type the name and password, which is already stored anyway. It continues to pop up even after I click okay. Can anyone help with this?

If you were running froman Exchnage Server, that's a classic case of a locked account, but I guess it is nothing no more than a temporary issue with your ISP or mail provider.

If you have RoadRunner, I'm getting that on my primary account since early afternoon.  They apparently have an e-mail or login server issue but there's nothing on the network status about it.  I'm connected to tampabay.rr.com
