Cannot uninstall Dell Backup and Recovery

OK, this software came with the PC laptop and has never been used in it's existence. It frequently pops up asking me to upgrade to pro and whatnot and I have started to get bored of pressing x every time I re-boot the PC. tried installing through Ccleaner, but it had no entry, looked in in the control panel and wasn't an entry in the programs for it there ether.  After a large amount of hunting I came across this website saying how to do it from cmd but that failed saying:

Microsoft Windows [Version 6.3.9600]
(c) 2013 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

C:\Users\Ben>"C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{0ED
7EE95-6A97-47AA-AD73-152C08A15B04}\setup.exe" -runfromtemp -l0x0409 -removeonly
'"C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{0ED7EE95-6A97-4
7AA-AD73-152C08A15B04}\setup.exe"' is not recognized as an internal or external
command,
operable program or batch file.

C:\Users\Ben>

I found the source of this, predictably, being the lack of said setup file in the given folder, instead just a large number of hex numbered ".rra"s. I'm not certain of the  reason for the lack of this file.

My next thought was to try and re-install the program over the top to see if that would replace the file. This didn't work as the installer demands you uninstall the old version before you install the new one, which leaves me at a bit of a predicament.

Any help in finding a solution to this would be really useful , so I will give a hopeful and pre-emptive thank you :)

Always post your model computer and operating system. That makes it easier to help. Try using the Registry cleaner in CCleaner. Also look at Startup tab under Tools. Be careful of course, but I've found that the utility removes links to uninstalled programs safely. Expand Task Manager to see the Startup tab and disable anything there.

Thanks for the reply,

The laptop is an Inspiron 17R SE running 64bit Windows 8.1. Inside Ccleaner or task manager I can see no entry for the program to run at start up

I did however find a 4 entries listed when I ran autoruns however,

I'm not sure why it lists it as file no found, there are most certainly present.

the registry scan is something I do as part of weekly maintenance, just ran it again and it turned up nothing.

There is no entry for Dell Backup and Recovery listed anywhere I can uninstall programs, not in Ccleaner or other locations.

Sorry for the shear number of snipps in this, just thought I'd put everything up so that I'm clear with you what/where I've checked.
