Dell Support 3.0 Upgrade

Question

I just received a postcard urging me to download and install Dell Support 3.0.  However, 6 months ago or so I downloaded and installed Dell Support 5.0.0.766.  Is version 3.0 an improvement over version 5?  Or do you recommend I stay with version 5?  Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the info...it was a bit confusing when I received the postcard...would've made more sense if they had just kept the version 5 numbering scheme.

Hello jronesi, Dell Support 3.0 Is the same as version 5. I am not at home so I could'nt tell you what exact version # I have, I got mine installed by dell through the Internet about 2 months ago. I believe they call it Dell Support 3.0 because it replaced Dell Support 2.0 when they installed it on everybodys computer who had 2.0     Malron
