DMX can't play DVD's

I have installed PowerDVD 4.0 on my notebook. How come I still can't play DVD's using Dell Media Experience?

Probably for the same reason why it doesn't work with PowerDVD 6 and 7 either:  DMX doesn't support these versions.  This is just a guess so best if Dell-ChrisM can confirm whether version 4 is supported.

It only work with PowerDVD 5, 5.5, 5.7 or 5.9 from Dell.

If you checked the thread you'll see that you need to install PowerDVD too. Is it installed in your system?
