Well, Dell just sent tme two new CDs neither of wich were the ones I requested. After I ordered CD U8032, they called to tell me that they would sent me Dell Media Experience 3.0 CD #U8032. Instead They sent Dell Tools System P/N OM7503 and Dell Resource CDP/N OY5994
What is wrong here? They have the gall to charge me for something I didn't want or order. And they keep sending the wrong thing and think I am going to pay them for it!!!
I now have three copies of CD M7503 Dell Tool system Software
And two copies of CD Y5993 Resource CD (the disk says Y5993, the label & packing slip say Y5994)
No copies of the elusive CD #U8032 DMX 3.0 with the missing file DMX.MSI.
My packing slip with my original order for the computer said Dell Music Experience 3.0 was installed on the computer. I also got a verbal confirmation that I would get CDs of all software installed
Dell isn't going to charge you for any of these CDs. Just keep them all. I sent you the correct DMX 3.0 CD. It shipped yesterday. The DHL/Airborne airbill number is 80010420781.
I just got the CD for DMX 3.0. The packing slip says it is U8032 but the disk has part number G8602 Rev A01. Before I botch up my computer could you let me know if this is the correct disk?
Chris, I just got another disk from Dell (not yours). The part number is H8516, for "Reinstalling Dell tools system software". I suppose I'll just file it with the other wrong disks they have sent. This is amazing. I have no idea why they sent it when I requested disk # U8032. Although there is an 8 in both.

The problem has gone since I installed DMX 3.0 from the disk you sent. CD U8032 which arrived on 6/16.
