DVD Ripping & Burning

Question

DVD Shrink is working well for me on my new XPS 1640; except that the rip takes twice as long as it does on my four year old XPS 400 with inferior hardware.  Is this due to Riplock and/or is there a way to resolve this? This laptop came with Roxio Creator DE, which will burn DVDs directly from either images or non-commercial DVDs.  But it will not burn DVDs from such above ripped DVDs.  Is there an upgrade path for this software that will do my needed burns?

Hi, Tom: Unfortunately, ripping commercial DVDs is not a topic allowed by the forum. A bit of searching should find you a suitable place to get help with this.
