It's telling you that you have either installed or tried to install this before and it never completed or some other program is installing.

You failed to include your PC Model Number and Operating System (required on any initial problem post) so we can't give you specific assistance.

However, suggest using the System Restore function and restoring the PC to a date PRIOR to first attempting to install whatever you are trying to install.  That will give you a "clean start" and maybe eliminate the problem.  Make sure you follow the programs installation instructions EXACTLY when you try installing again.  System Restore can be accessed from Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools.  System Restore will not delete any user data or e-mails.

Thanks Fireberd. It is an Inspiron 1501 running Windows Vista. Do you still recommend the System restore?

Yes.  System Restore is not a "complete" reinstall, just a "fallback" to an earlier time on the PC.

System Restore is one of my "super tech" items I use to fix a lot of problems. :emotion-11:
