error when closing Word 2007
I have user that uses Office 2007 Small Business Edition with Windows XP on a Dell Latitude D630. When he closes Powerpoint, and more importantly Word 2007 he gets the following error message.
Word(Powerpoint) has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
At one point this was happening every time Word was closed, but now it seems to be isolated to almost all Word documents that are attached to an e-mail in Outlook.
As for things I have tried so far, I have uninstalled and reinstalled Microsoft Office, I have removed all the add-ins that were installed in Word. I have tried to save the document to the hard drive and still get the error when Word is closed. Here is what event viewer shows me, just replace Powerpoint with Word.
D: 3, Application Name: Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Application Version: 12.0.4518.1014, Microsoft Office Version: 12.0.4518.1014. This session lasted 2 seconds with 0 seconds of active time. This session ended with a crash
Faulting application winword.exe, version 12.0.4518.1014, stamp 45428028, faulting module hpz3r4v2.dll, version 61.63.247.0, stamp 45949947, debug? 0, fault address 0x00045a98
Is there a chance that my version of Office is corrupted and would need to be replaced?
Any help would be appreciated.

Also, close Word and search the hard drive, including hidden and system files, for the template normal.dot. Delete all copies of normal.dot that you find. When you restart Word, it'll create a new copy of normal.dot
