Help Finding Archived .PST Files

I need help with M. Office Outlook.  I get these messages to AUTOMATICALLY archive e-mails so as not to clog things up.  I just say O.K.  However, when I go to find this filed, I have no clue where to go.  I am using XP.  I get this message all the time and it says it is under Doments and Settings\LocalSettings\ApplicationData\etc., etc., etc.

When I did find a folder saying MO .PST it would not let me open it.  Says what I have does not support opening a .PST.  I am slightly confused.  Even if I get there, I do not know what to do with all that has been stored.  Please help.

the local settings folder is a hidden folder: in folder options, view tab, check show hidden files and folders. Archive.pst will be in

C:\Documents and Settings\your user name\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

However, in Outlook, file menu, Open, Outlook data file, it should open at that folder containing your .pst files, highlight archive.pst, click open and Archive folder with its contents should appear in your folder list.

The only way to open pst files is by opening Outlook and using File, Open Data File on the menu. Outlook will find all available pst files on your hard drive.
