How do I get Dell Media Experience?

I recently replaced my hard drive on my Dell Ispiron 1100. It used to have Dell Media Experience on it, but of course it doesn't anymore. I was wondering how I could get it back? My mother gave this laptop to me as a gift, and she doesn't know anything about technical things. (I don't either, come to think of it.)

Anyway, she said there weren't any CDs that came with the notebook, (or if they did, we don't have them anymore). I don't have a lot of money to spend (college student, I'm broke!) so if there is a free downloadable version, I would very much appreciate anyone's help.

Thanks,

Lauren

I am in the same boat. Dont have the original CDs and am interesting in loading Dell Media Experience. What solution did you provide LCSouth. Could you give me a download URL as well. Appreciate your help.

I recieved the CD and installed it onto my laptop. However it doesn't let me play DVDs, and I have no idea why.
