I need to reinstall Office 2010 Starter -

Microsoft office starter is a part of factory image. Once lost you will not be able to retrieve it. However please explain what is the issue that you are facing and I will be glad to check.

Thanks for your response.

Both Excel and Word are freezing (not responding) and crashing after I type one or two characters. This happens EVERY TIME, not occasionally. I have search the Internet for help with those and have tried the variety of fixes suggested all to no avail.

Please let me know anything you can suggest.

Go out and Buy a USB Flash drive.

Uninstall Office Starter.

Download the installer for Office starter here

microsoft_office_starter

Then Reinstall Office starter.

Then Run the Microsoft Office to Go tool which will download tons more stuff and make a portable office starter flash drive.

Then run office starter from the flash drive after the install.

Post the results.
