Install Office 2007 in a different language
We bought a Dell Inspiron 15" last December with Win7 Home premium and Office 2007 home & student.
As we live in Belgium, it came with software preinstalled in Dutch.
Now, as I would like to reinstall Windows (I want to partition the drive and put ubuntu on it as well), I was wondering if I can install it in English instead of Dutch. I'm pretty sure that's the case for Win7, but what about Office ? I already tried the installer on an English version of vista at a friend's house, but all menu's were in Dutch.
Is it possible in any way to install office in a different language from the one on the disc ? I'm talking about the interface and menus, not about the spell checker. Can you exchange a Dutch Office 2007 licence for an English one, free of charge ?

Your friend's PC may have been in English, but the default language was probably Dutch, because Office uses the default langauge of the PC to determine what language it will install. Maybe it's different in the EU, but that's the way I understand how it works.

Didn't work at all. All it did was change my keyboard layout from AZERTY to QWERTY. The rest, menus and splash screen, still in Dutch. It seems that Office comes with support for ONE language, which means that, if you buy a French or Dutch version, there's no way to install it in English or any other language.
That sucks...
