installing Microsoft Office Basic Edition 2003

Question

I just bought a new Insperon 1100 - the purchase was the recent $799 offer with Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition as the operating system. But, I also bought Microsoft Office Basic Edition 2003. The operating system came pre-installed but Office 2003 did not. I have not been able to install it. Does anyone know the steps I need to go through to install it?

Check your invoice to make sure you ordered Office. It should have been installed if you did. Did you receive the Office disk and Product Key? Call Dell if this was missing and you were charged for it. If you have the disk, install it using the Product Key on the Office packaging. Don't lose the key and don't use the Windows' Product key on your computer.

Thanks for the resonse.  I have the CD to install it but just don't know how.

Just put the disk in the drive and Setup should start automatically. Close all other open windows before installing.
