I installed my Office 2000 on Windows Vista Premium. The only program that wouldn't work correctly is Outlook. The address book in particular is coded differently in Vista than in XP. There are a number of websites that suggest work arounds, but I just decided to use Windows Mail instead. I'd much rather have Outlook, but want to get the 2003 version.
I have been unable to download Microsoft Office 2000 on my new XPS 1710 with Vista Home. I know it says that it is compatible but I cannot get beyond the authorization code. As soon as I put the code in is says something about Vista help not being compatible with Office 2000. Microsolft says Dell is responsible for Tech support. Dell tlls me to go to Microsoft. Where do I go?
