Mouse Won't Scroll in Visual Basic 2003 Windows
If you do Visual Basic programming, you can understand how annoying it is to not be able to scroll the code with you mouse wheel. That's what happened to me when I switched from Office 2000 to Office 2003. I have a corded optical "Dell" mouse (made by Microsoft). All the help articles I read in the Microsoft archives assummed I have an IntelliPoint driver, which clearly I do not. So I'm wondering if I'll screw up anything by downloading an IntelliPoint driver? Any guesses?

Actually, I have determined that I am unable to scroll any windows associated with the Visual Basic system. Everything else seems to work. I don't know whether it is the VBA software itself, or if VBA is on the Universal Scrolling Exception List. The mouse hardware I believe is working just fine. Pffft!

Hadn't noticed before, but just tried in Excel 2002/XP VBA editor and the wheel does not work in that either (Intellipoint 4.1). It works in all other software. I'll try v 5, see if it works then.
PS: No, made no difference to mouse operation (optical wheel mousebtw).
