I agree. When I bought my Intellimouse wireless, it had Intellipoint 5.0 and it does not scroll in the VBA code window. I have not found any updates, fixes, etc to solve this, so I now use the scroll bar in the window.
There seems to be some dispute about what kind of mouse I have. It appears to be a Logitech corded wheel mouse, and that's what the Dell Support screens say it is, but the Device Manager on my computer is explicit about it being manufactured by Microsoft. It even gives the details about the Microsoft driver (circa 2001) that is installed. The support guy in India tells me that I do not have an IntelliMouse, so don't install the IntelliPoint driver.
Actually, I have determined that I am unable to scroll any windows associated with the Visual Basic system. Everything else seems to work. I don't know whether it is the VBA software itself, or if VBA is on the Universal Scrolling Exception List. The mouse hardware I believe is working just fine. Pffft!
Hadn't noticed before, but just tried in Excel 2002/XP VBA editor and the wheel does not work in that either (Intellipoint 4.1). It works in all other software. I'll try v 5, see if it works then.
PS: No, made no difference to mouse operation (optical wheel mousebtw).
