Need help installing Outlook '07

I'm hoping someone can help me here...I have a 2 month old Inspiron 1505 which I got with MS Office Small Business Edition 2003 installed and the upgrade to '07.  The upgrade came late last week but I can not get Outlook to install no matter what I try...it keeps telling me it's "unavailable" on the disk.  I researched it as much as I could..it's clearly included with the '07 upgrade (or should be) but have read that I can't run 2 copies simultaneously.  Ok...so I try to uninstall Outlook 03..that doesn't seem to work.  Uninstall '07 totally to see if that is causing an issue with uninstalling Outlook..still doesn't work.  Totally uninstall BOTH '03 and '07...then do a custom reinstallation of '03 -without- Outlook...then reinstall '07 and still no luck...what am I doing wrong or missing?????

I FINALLY got this working!   I reinstalled  everything for about the 3rd time and ran the repair as someone else had suggested in an earlier thread then went back to the disk and looked..it was still X'ed out as not available but this time when I checked in the Outlook drop down menu there was another option that I had not seen before on previous checks...one that said something like install on 1st opening!  I checked that option and then went back to my program list and opened the program and it immediately started to configure Outlook for me!
