need help installing spell check

I  don't know if I am posting this in the right place.  This might sound crazy but I really don't know the answer.  I have never heard of the options. I would like to install the spell check here. Which option should I pick? How do I know if I have enough space to download? Is it only for this site? Will downloading the spell check here cause me any problems with my current settings?

I have a Dell Dimension C521. I am using Windows XP.

Thanks!

Spell checking is a browser feature, not a website feature :emotion-55:

I don't know if Internet Explorer 8 has a built-in spell checker, since I don't use IE?  But there's a (free) ieSpell add-on for older versions of IE.

Another (free) IE add-on which offers spell checking, is IE7 Pro.

Read more about it's specific spell-checker feature/option here.

I use Firefox myself though, which offers the option (via a tick box) to 'Spell-check as I type' in its 'Advanced' settings.

With that feature enabled, any/all spelling mistakes are highlighted with a red underline :emotion-5:
