Sorry about the blank .I have lost my microsoft office shortcut bar option. Does anyone know how to get it back

In my All users startup folder, there is a shortcut to OSA.exe, which is in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10 (for Office XP; 11 for Office 2003)

The target line on the short cut is "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\OSA.EXE" -b -l

[include the ""].

If I exit the office toolbar and double click on that shortcut, the office toolbar comes back on.

Find Osa.exe, make a shortcut, right click on it, click properties and edit the target line to be as above (otherwise it doesn't seem to work). Then put it in your startup folder if you want the office bar to load at stasrtup. Or on the desktop, then it will open when you double click on it.

OK, personal preferences. I use office toolbar, parked at top right always on top, and have added buttons for many other apps that I use regularly and things like control panel, windows explorer, etc; also a second toolbar with shortcuts to various folders, such as system and administrative tools, games, etc.; you switch from one toolbar to the other by clicking on an icon at either end of the office toolbar. I found that having a lot of icons in the quick launch toolbar took up a lot of space on the taskbar.

I find that putting Office shortcuts on the Quick Launch bar works better and is less annoying.
