Opening Outlook starts with this error!
I get the following box when I open Outlook; "The add-in "c:\progra~1\mcafee.com\vso\outscan.dll" could not be installed or loaded. This problem may be resolved by using Detect and Repair on the Help menu." Though once I click "ok" I am able to use Outlook normally, I don't know why it's doing this. MY XPS came with McAfee, I uninstalled it and loaded Norton AV 2004. I've tried removing Outlook then reinstalling, though the problem persists. Anyone know how to fix this?

You didn't say which version of Outlook. The error is probably due to a bad uninstall on McAfee's part.
Try going to Tools > Options > Other. Click Advanced Options button. Click Add-in Manager button. If there is a McAfee entry, untick it.
If it is not listed, try also looking under COM Add-in.
