Outlook 2002 not saving mail in Sent Items folder

Question

Suddenly Outlook 2002 (not Outlook Express) is saving only some of my sent messages in the Sent Items folder. It's gone erratic on me! Anyone know how to fix this so that I can have all my mail saved in the folder. (I've already checked the appropriate box in Tools, Options, E-mail options, where I've checked the box that says: 'Save copies of messages in sent items folder.') Thanks!

So what happens to the rest of the sent messages?  Did you enable the option to save reply in the same folder as the original message other than when replying from Inbox?

Thanks for considering this problem! Actually, I discovered that the messages were not lost, but that Outlook was placing some of them at the bottom of the list rather than at the top!
