Outlook 2003 - Network Password Question

I am having a new problem in Outlook.  Even though my email network password is in my email account setup, my outlook will not pop-up a screen requiring the password be entered everytime that my computer tries to send/receive.  I don't know what to do to fix the problem.  Please help if you can.  I am very frustrated.  Thanks!

Something is not right in the above.  If you want it to prompt you for a password, you should password the root outlook folder in question.  This still won't prompt each time you try to send and receive, but it will prompt once per Outlook being started.  At least in 2007 you do this by right-clicking the folder, clicking properties, advanced, and then entering a password.

If alternatively, you want it to stop prompting you for a password, I'm not sure what to advise other than to double-check your settings and possibly recreating the local account.

I have had that come up when my ISP was having problems.  When they got their problems straightened out the box didn't pop up.

I am not sure what ISP is.  If it means my internet provider...I think you might be correct.  Thanks for all your help.

Yes, ISP - Internet Service Provider.

I have RoadRunner and if they are having certain e-mail problems, I'll get that.
