Outlook Error Message Regarding a program trying to access my email address

All of a sudden whenever I open Microsoft Outlook I get a message saying that a program is trying to access my emai address stored in outlook.  Do i want to allow it or not.  When i click no, the message goes away and comes back immidiately.  When i click no again I get a runtime error and the program shuts down.  Dell Support is absolutely no help with this without charging me $120.  Anyone have an solutiongs?  Its an older version of outlook with the new vista.

Thanks in advance.

This is a feature of Outlook - it is programmed to prevent trojan dialler programs from sending out their message to all the members of your address book.

The first thing to do is scan your computer with a reputable anti-virus program. Even if you get no results from this, it would be worthwhile, for peace of mind, to post a HijackThis log into the HijackThis forum.

Many addon programs could cause this. You should mention exactly what version of Outlook. I would disable any virus checking, Norton, SpamKillers, etc in Outlook and make sure you updated Office after reinstalling. Or this might apply-- http://support.microsoft.com/kb/263074/en-us There is a MS forum for Outlook that has moderators that might help in MS Communities. A good site here for Outlook problems: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2002sp3.htm#problems
