Outlook Express Question
I'm not sure if this is even where to post this question but I really would like to figure out how to do this. I want to make a group in my address book, lets say for friends. Then I want to put say 25 friends in there and be able to just type friends and have the email go to all those people. I have tried everything and I can't seem to get it to work. I keep getting an error that says:
Permanent Failure: Other address status
Delivery last attempted at Mon, 26 Jan 2004 01:40:56 -0000
Can someone please please help me?
Thanks
Vicki

Open Outlook Express and then open Address Book. Go to New|New Group. Type the name you would like to use for the group (Friends) in the dialog that opens, then click "Select members" and select the names of the people you wish to have in the group. When you have completed the selections, click OK and the group will appear in your address book in bold type to identify it as a group rather than a single contact.
As a courtesy to the members of the group I'd recommend whenever you send any email to the group that you make them a blind copy (BCC:) recipient. If you do that nobody in the group will see the email address of another member, and some people wish to restrict the number of people who know their email address.

That is how I've done it and I get that error message that I explained in the previous message. I'm not sure why or what I am doing wrong. I've done exactly what you told me except the bcc part, which I will try. Is there a certain number of people you can put in one group?
Thanks so much for the help!
