creyner,

Outlook Express is strictly for email. It maintains an address book and stores your email messages. Outlook is a much more full-featured program with email capabilities plus a contact manager, calendar, reminder capability (similar to Post-Its), and a task manager. In addition, its contact manager's address book can be accessed by other Office applications, such as by Microsoft Word to perform a mail merge. You can get more detailed information by clicking the " Take The Tour" link here.
