Outlook XP sending mail issue
After installing Office XP and running SP1 for Office, I am still unable to send e-mails. Everything looks okay. But it has an issue with the SMTP mail for some reason. I am using 110 and 587 for the port settings. Any suggestions?

To begin with, XP SP1 is unsafe. Microsoft recommends that you install SP3. Then you will get automatic upgrades. Be sure to do a backup first. Install SP3 in Safe Mode after downloading the file. You then should get a long list of upgrades . If you continue to have problems with SMTP, first delete your Email address and then re-install your Email, making certain you enter the information correctly. You then have several options. You may want to click help on the right top tool bar in Outlook and then click on repair Outlook. Also check with your ISP for help.
